When We Walked: Karishma & Kabita

While Bollywood celebrities are rocking Lakhme Fashion Week, Nepali celebrities did some catwalk in a Charity Fashion Show organised by Party Fiesta. For the first time mother and daughter duo, Karishma Manandhar & her daughter Kabita Manandhar walked on the ramp. They were the show stoppers of the event. Despite being bit shy, the duo walked on the ramp with grace and ela matching the professional models.
Cameras were clicking, audience were cheering, making Karishma feel the warmth and love of Nepali audience.

She said; “It feels like I am just back from USA, like a perfect welcome party. Feeling of walking along with my daughter on the ramp was incredible”

Apart from the duo, there were many more female celebrities who walked their way on the ramp; Nisha Adhikary, Namrata Shrestha, Richa Sharma, Rima, Sneha, Srijana, Indira Joshi, etc. Apart from these ladies, singer turned actor – Babu Bogati, Bimalesh and Sabin Shrestha too donned some of ethnic attire on the show.

Hot Singer Indira Joshi, not just walked on the ramp but also crooned some of her chartbusters. There was good mixture of popular and new models along with these celebrities. Former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi, surprised with her still maintained beauty. The event was choreographed by Jayan Subba Manandhar.

All revenue from the show was donated to Nava Jyoti Children Center, which helps mentally challenged special kids. With divas on ramp with flashy attire for such a noble cause is always a charm to watch. This also proves Nepali Cine Sansar fratenity is doing its bit to help the society grow.
