When Horror takes over Comedy Movie Unit

While Richa Ghimire is busy promoting her home production movie ‘Brake Fail’, she also shares an interesting incident which happened during shooting of the movie. In Nepal, Ghost stories and belief are still rampant specially in hilly regions. During one of the shooting schedule, out of valley near Narayani river, the cast and crew experienced something paranormal. After pack up, in the evening the cast and crew had managed a near by lodge in Narayani.

Everything seemed normal during the daytime, but after midnight, the cast and crew was disturbed with sudden outburst of Chiren, the debutant actor of the movie. The crew first thought it was some kind of prank played by the actor, but he was shivering like a hell and told the unit he saw a Ghost near the river. Other cast members and crew team tried to convince Chiren, she might have seen some shadow or light reflection upon the river water. But, he was not convinced and asked some of the crew members to stay with him whole night. He was afraid to even go to loo alone.

After nextday packup the cast and crew had to once again spend the night in the same lodge. Next night it was another actor’s turn to be haunted. It was Bimalesh who repeated similar encounters. It was Bilmesh, who finally convinced the crew members that the place is haunted. Even crew members started hearing wiered sounds and shadows. The crew and cast didn’t get a second sleep that night fearing Ghost and Ghost stories.

Later on when the producer and actress Richa Ghimire started inquring about the incidents, it was finally revealed, after all it was the prank played by the lead actors of the movie upon other members of the unit. Actually, just before pack up, the lead actor Chiren had watched some horror movie and he made a plan to scare the unit members. Another actor Bimalesh also joined the prankster to create much more havoc.
Finally, the unit completed the shooting in time on the third. The horror events finally became motivation for crew members to wrap up the scenes as soon as possible and leave the evil spirited lodge.

The movie ‘Brake Fail’ is a rom-com, which is releasing on the 2nd September, 2011. Let’s hope these actors don’t scare the audience out the theater instead of attracting them.
