Heartfelt Condolence to Meera: Mrs. Hari Bansha Acharya

Tragedy never comes knocking on the doors. The person who made whole nation laugh was hit with pain and sorrow of sudden demise of his beloved.
Haribansha Acharya, was seen mourning over his wife Meera’s dead body on 21st April 2011. Meera was suffering from chronic heart disease, but in past few days she had neuro problem, for which she had been admitted in ICU three days ago at Model Hospital.

Meera was one of the earliest RJ and presenter in Radio Nepal. Her voice was popular since Radio Nepal era to Classic FM time as a presenter and in ad jingles. At the age of 46, she succumb her life to brain hemorrhage.

Hari bansha along with his two sons performed the final rituals according to Hindu religion yesterday. Huge crowd of fans, actors and government officials paid their condolence and were present during cremation at the banks of Bagmati River at the Pashupatinath temple yesterday. Prime Minister Jhal Nath Khanal also expressed his deep condolence through circular.

The couple had been married since Magh 9th, 2040 B.S. (i.e. 23rd Jan 1984).
