Sharmila Malla (formely Shah) an actess who has good looks along with fine skill of acting has done more than four dozen Nepali movies in past two decades and yet she are in no mood to take a rest.

A reporter from Kantipur Daily, Fulman Bal had a day with this fine actress who has played in movies like Kaanchi, Basudev, Chino, etc

Sharmila Malla’s day begins at sharp 6:00 or 6:30 AM. After drinking a glass or two of fresh water, her morning rituals begin. Then she starts burning her calories on the treadmill and by means of Yoga. With half an hour yoga session daily, she keeps herself fit. Apart from a cup of Black Tea and a glass of hot lemon, she intakes more than six liters of water daily.

She takes her brunch around 12:00 PM noon, if she don’t have to go to any shooting. She eats more of vegetables than meat products. She claims to have cut down meat products drastically to maintain her weight.

She then passes her time by watching movies along with her son or watching anything funny on the telly. She also likes to read very much. During day time she spends most of her time in front of TV or books. In the evening she along with her husband Krishna Malla and kids plan a dinner in a home. At the dinner table the family discuss day to day activities. After that once again TV marathon begins watching popular daily soaps, its not until midnight she goes to bed, that too never with a book in her hand. She has a wired habit of reading anything before she goes to sleep. Be it novel, book or even a comic must be in her hand, which acts like lullaby for her.

During weekends she plans a gathering with her friends at her place or at their place. She loves to drink beer at least once a week. She claims she can drink a bottle a two in one sitting and still remain sober. Currently, she plans to work in one or two movies a year. Her forthcoming movie is titled as ‘Naya Nepal Express’.
