Rekha returns back to village

Baglung Buspark, Pokhara looked like some kind of Mela last Tuesday,
People from all streets of life had thronged into the shooting spot of ‘Khusi’, while some entered into the Bus on which Rekha Thapa was traveling. Fans asking for the autograph and photo with Rekha Thapa didn’t come to an end for hours. Finally film unit had to push those fans out of the bus to get the shot.

Rekha was shooting for the movie titled ‘Khusi’. In the movie she plays a role of bubbly girl, who returns back to village after her high school.
Directed by Gyanendra Deuja, Produced by Uddab Poudel, ‘Khusi’ also stars Suman Singh, Ayush Rijal, Bijay. The movie does seem to be inspired from Bollywood – Khusi (which in turn was adapted from Tamil – Kushi) and Jab We Met. Story of Happy-go-Lucky, bubbly girl whose life was like dream until her lover betrays her. The movie centers around the protagonist and her struggle to find the justice and respect after all trials and tribulations imposed by the male dominant society over her.
