Cybersansar Owners Arrested – Kasaju Brothers !

Now and then Cybersansar (aka cybernepal.com.np) has been in news for good and bad. Be it accusations from the models regarding exploitations or people claiming the models featured in the cybersansar websites are high class escorts, etc. Although, those allegations were never taken seriously or officially in legal terms, this time Kasaju brothers – Abhinav Kasaju and Dipankar Kasaju,, the owners of popular Nepali models website got into trouble due to rampant piracy of popular English, Hindi HD movies. They were advertising online for the latest Hindi/Nepali movies in HD Quality for sale at Rs. 100 – Rs. 500 per movie, voilating all copyright norms. Through their new website www.givemeHD.com, they were operating PAID membership based movie downloading, sharing business.
UPDATE 2: Police have revealed, they have found many Adult movies apart from regulard HD English, Bollywood and 3D movies. They however didn’t reveal whether the movie were NEPALI or Foriegn language. Media is speculating, Kasaju brothers, who are running their flagship Nepali Modelling website – Cybersansar could be much more than Models posing in semi-nude poses. The rumour is already out about more of Namrata Shrestha kind of tapes of Cybersansar models might be within those Harddisk caputred by the police.
UPDATE: Police has appealed in the court for NON BAILABLE jail for 10 days for further investigation into this matter. The District court have ALLOWED 5 days Jail Term for Kasaju brothers for further investigation.

According to Nagariknews, the membership charge for the site ranged were Rs. 15,000 for 176 movies or Rs. 25, 000 to buy 333 movies. They had a pre-paid card system to purchase a few movies. A HD movie used to cost Rs. 100 and a 3D movie used to cost Rs. 200. The site owners acquired the movies through illegal torrent sites. It was reported that the site had a library of more than 1300 such movies.
According to Nepali Copyright Law, the brothers could be fined Rs. 25,000 and 6 months of prison if pleaded guility. Metropolitian police have already got all the proof they need to make a water tight case against the Kasaju Brothers. They are currently detained in Hunuman Dokha Metropolitian Police Station.
Here is a video shot using SPY CAMERA by Nagarik News Reporters, where one of the owner, Abhinav Kasaju tells the disguised potential client how to buy HD movies and watch using HDNepal.com products. According to him HDNepal is also run by their friends, which deals with entertainment products along with Illegal English/Hindi Movies and some BBC Documentaries.

ग्राहकले एउटा फिल्म रोजेपछि त्यसलाई कपि गर्न हार्डडिस्कसहित अभिनव माथिको कोठामा जान्छन्। एकछिनपछि उनले तल रिसेप्सनमा फोन गरी थ्रीडी मूभीको चाहिँ दुई सय रुपैयाँ र त्यसको चश्माको सय रुपैयाँ पर्ने बताउँछन्। सुरुमा सय रुपैयाँ पर्ने भनेको फिल्मको भाउ एकाएक सय प्रतिशत बढ्छ। (यी दृश्य भिडियोमा देखिएको छैन)
केही मिनेटको पर्खाइपछि अभिनव हार्ड डिस्क र कागजको चश्मा हातमा लिएर आउँछन् र भन्छन्- त्यति बलियो त हैन यो।
ग्राहकः कागजको हो यो?
अभिनव: कागज कै हो।
ग्राहकः राम्रो प्लास्टिकको पाइन्न?
अभिनव: अहिले त छैन। मगाउन चाहिँ मिल्छ।

ग्राहकः फिल्म महँगो भयो अलि।
अभिनव: फिल्म? लिमिटेड छ। अर्को साथीहरुले पाँच सय रुपैयाँमा बेचिरहेको छ के।
ग्राहकः अर्को भनेको ?
अभिनव: एचडीनेपाल भन्ने छ नि त्यो। त्यहाँका साथीहरुले चाहिँ….
चश्मा लिँदै ग्राहकः यो यहीँ बनाएको हो कि ?
अभिनवः यो बाहिरबाट मगाएको हो के। चाइनाबाट मगाएको। हजार पिस जति मगाएको। इन्डियाबाट पनि मगाउन मिल्छ। इन्डियामा अलि महँगो पर्छ तर।
ग्राहकः अनि यो एचडीनेपाल भनेको अर्को हो? थ्रीडी बेच्ने अर्को?
अभिनव: अँ उनीहरु चाहिँ टिभीहरु बेच्छन् के
ग्राहकः डीभीडी मै बेच्ने? यस्ता फिल्महरु डिभिडीमा पाइन्नन्?
अभिनव: पाइन्छ
ग्राहकः कति पर्छ?
अभिनव: हामी कहाँ चाहिँ पाइन्न। एचडी मात्रै हो हामी कहाँ।
ग्राहकः नयाँ रिलिज भएको फिल्म तुरुन्तै आउँछ कि कस्तो हुन्छ यहाँ?
अभिनव: आउँदैन त्यो। एकदेखि तीन महिना लाग्छ।
ग्राहकः जस्तो त्यो इन्सेप्सनहरु हेर्नुपर्यो भने?
अभिनव: इन्सेप्सन चाहिँ नोभेम्बरमा मात्रै रिलिज हुन्छ। ब्लकबस्टरहरुलाई चाहिँ अलिकति डिले गर्छ के उनीहरुले।
थ्रीडी बारे उनी ग्राहकहरुलाई सुनाउँछन् यस्तो यस्तो इफेक्ट देखिन्छ भनी।
