Guess what, the most popular actress in Nepali CineSansar - Rekha Thapa started her career with ONE RUPPEE salary. The news came as a shock after she revealed how producer of ‘HERO’, her first movie, handed one ruppee coin as a symbol of luck for her role in the movie.

From that one ruppee, she has completed 10 years in Nepali CineSansar and played in more than 100 movies during that duration. In her recent interview she claimed her salary has gone up to Rs. 2.5 lakh per movie. Its like a Cinderella story, from Rs. 1 to Quater a Million ruppees.
