The Upcoming: Kalpana Shahi

Just two films old, yet shining like a star - Kalpana Shahi is eagerly waiting for her first celluloid cinema release - Maan Parepachi. After numerous music videos, at the age of 21 she debuted with a digital film ‘Tufan‘, which unfortunately was blown away at the box office, also almost her career. However, after hours of acting classes and dance training everyday, she finally hopes Nepali CineSansar will accept her as a new comer after the release of Maan Parepachi. Directed by Suman Dahal, the movie stars Kalpana Shahi as the lead actress.

Upon asking how was her experience till now in the industry, she said: “Its tough. Without any acting and dancing skill, no one will even look at you.”
This 5Ft. 5 Inch damsel hails from Surkhet and loves to dance in her spare time. Doesn’t misses any moive on small screen and thinks can learn lot about acting from the movies.
