Released last Friday, Dosti is complete masala entertainer with action, drama, romance and comedy. Directed by Madan Ghimire, Dosti preaches old adage; Friendship is above all, it doesn’t look for religion, cast, financial status, etc. Friendship can also happen between, Animal & Human. At the same time, it also highlights how a good friend can change into bitter enemy when manipulated by evil mind.
Starring Biraj Bhatta, Zenisha K.C. and Arjun in major roles, Dosti got wide release within the Valley and currently getting wonderful response from the audience.
Biraj Bhatta (Dev) is poor garage mechanic, while his close friend Arjun (Arjun Karki) is from wealthy family. The two friends were having a ball until Zenisha K.C. enters into the scene. Dev tries to hook up Zenisha with Arjun, as Arjun is obsessed with her. Interestingly, while trying to tie-knot between Arjun and Zenisha, Zenisha falls in love with Dev. The twist in the tale, occurs when Arjun’s step brother Dinesh D.C. starts playing evil game to change close friendship between Dev and Arjun into bitter enmity.
When Arjun realizes the evil plot, its been already late. The movie has tragic end.
The importance of friendship has been repeated several times in the movie. Action sequences of specially trained Falcon, imported from India, as Dev’s friend is the USP of the movie. Also guest appearance by Nikhil in the action sequence was icing on the cake.
For a masala movie fan, Dosti is one joyride.
