From Ramp to Silver Screen: Ahsok Phuyal

He used to stare for hours the billboard advertisements, movie posters in his hometown in Gaur. Always enthusiastic about Nepali Cinema, lost in Cine Sansar news, gossips and movies Ashok Phuyal finally stepped into capital with lot of hope. He started his career from modeling, walking on the ramps, posing for product ads and finally making it into big screen seems like a dream for him.

After string of music videos, fashion shows and commercials Ashok got his break with Nepali feature film Dil Maya. In his first movie itself, he has been cast opposite popular actress Arunima Lamsal. He plays the role of ‘Dil’, while Arunima plays ‘Maya’ in the movie.The movie has been shot around 70% and is scheduled for the release early next year. The movie has been directed by Raju Giri and produced by Alija Rijal. He also told he has also signed another movie titled ‘Mai Ramri’ with the same director.

He seems confident about his performance and thinks can make it big in this industry one. We wish him all the best for his movies.
