Directed by veteran Tulsi Ghimire, Lahure took Nepali Cinema to next level. Action, Drama, Romance with patriotism as the backdrop, Lahure dealt with the life of a soldiers spanning two generations played both by Shrawan Kumar as Father-Son duo. Lahure is also remembered for his melodious music; The remix version of song Chiyabarima is till date playing at stations.
