Darpan Chaya is a 2001 Nepali movie directed by Tulsi Ghimire, starring Dilip Rayamajhi, Niruta Singh, Uttam Pradhan, and Tulsi Ghimire.This movie celebrated its successful hundred days in many cities. This movie released at a time when Nepali movies was in dire strait,reviving the movie industry.
Darpan Chaya is a love triangle movie surrounding Dilip, Niruta and Uttam. Uttam plays the blind character who is good friend of Dilip. While both of them fall in love with Niruta, who is suffering from chronic disease and is about to die soon. At the end, Niruta donates her eyes to Uttam.
One of the finest romantic movie by veteran Tulsi Ghimire, who gave us Kusume Rumal, Lahure, Chino, etc.
