Bipana is mum

Bipana Thapa, one-time famous actress in Nepali film industry, has returned home with a three-month old baby-boy after her marrigage with an Indian national Aashutosh Bhardhdaj nearly 20 months back.

Upon arrival in the capital for her rest at her maternal home during post-natal period as per the Hindu culture, she told reporters, ‘I’m busy looking after my infant son these days.” Saying that marriage is like a second birth for her, Bipana said ‘Marriage has given me a joyful break to enjoy my life to the full,’ adding that she is quite happy about establishing new relationships with her husband’s family members.

Right after the marriage, Bipana has been living in Mathura in a joint family having political background with 11 members including her husband. Aashutosh is President of Mathura Congress while his uncle former minster, and father a retired government pensioner. ‘The family is quite cooperative and open-minded,’ added Bipana. Thanks to her luck!

Bipana has acted in over five dozens of Nepali films so far. Despite her busy schedule at home, she says she plans to reappear on the screen in future soon. With entry into a different culture, Bipana consents she speaks in Hindi with her in-laws and other members except her husband who knows little about Nepali language. ‘I’m determined to teach my son Nepali language, however, as he is the son of a Nepali mother,” maintained Bipana.
